In this role, you’ll develop and maintain critical maintenance documentation—such as Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), and Troubleshooting Manuals (TSM)—that enable airlines and MROs worldwide to carry out safe, efficient maintenance operations. Role Highlights
Position: Technical Data Analyst (On‑site)
Experience: 5–10 years in Technical Data or Aircraft Maintenance domains
Education: AME degree or Aeronautical/Engineering qualification
Location: Bangalore, India
This role sits within Airbus Customer Services, responsible for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of maintenance documentation—from initial creation at aircraft entry into service, through updates driven by modifications and service bulletins, to ongoing configuration management.
Key Responsibilities
Authoring & Updates: Produce and revise AMM, IPC, TSM content in compliance with Airbus specifications, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
Configuration Management: Track and manage document revisions using Airbus’s configuration‑management tools and ATA chapter numbering.
Design Impact Analysis: Assess modification inputs (Mod & Mod Proposals, Service Bulletins) to determine impacts on existing documentation and coordinate timely updates.
AOG Support: Provide Aircraft on Ground (AOG) assistance, responding to urgent customer queries and ensuring rapid, accurate corrections under time pressure.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in technical‑data workflows, tools, and templates to boost efficiency and standardization across regions.
Skills & Qualifications
Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance principles, and aeronautics fundamentals.
Technical Authoring: Hands‑on experience with structured authoring environments for AMM, IPC, and TSM.
Tools & Standards: Familiarity with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), ATA 100/300 conventions, and AS9100 (EN 9100) quality management frameworks.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and mentorship abilities; proactive and collaborative attitude.
Language: Advanced English proficiency for global customer interactions.
