Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business lines and enterprise functions on research initiatives.

• Utilize functional knowledge to support non-model quantitative tools aiding strategic decisions.

• Analyze findings and trends using statistical methods and document processes.

• Present recommendations to enhance revenue, reduce expenses, and improve operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.

• Identify and define business requirements, translating data and business needs into actionable research and recommendations.

• Participate in designing and implementing database structures, analytics software, storage, and processing solutions.

• Develop customized reports and ad hoc analyses, providing guidance to less experienced staff.

• Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies.

• Collaborate with experienced consultants and partners in technology and other business groups.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in SQL, Teradata, SAS, and database management systems like Teradata and MS SQL Server.

• Experience in risk domains, including compliance, financial crimes, operational, audit, legal, credit risk, and market risk.

• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAS.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Experience in metadata management, data lineage, data element mapping, and data documentation.

• Knowledge of defect management tools like HP ALM.

• Understanding of data governance principles.
